MPOWER is looking for a Director of Physical Therapy who can lead and optimize the clinical operations of the therapy department and oversee the physical plants, ensuring excellence, therapist and patient engagement, and alignment with our Core Values. The Director of Physical Therapy will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities (Accountabilities)
Therapist Performance & Productivity Monitor and improve therapist schedules, caseloads, and utilization rates Ensure therapists meet documentation and billing standards
Operational Leadership Oversee daily clinic operations, workflows, and systems Collaborate with front desk, billing, and administrative teams to streamline processes
Clinical Quality & Compliance Ensure adherence to therapy protocols, licensing requirements, and ethical standards Lead internal audits and quality improvement initiatives
Team Development & Culture Recruit, onboard, and mentor therapists Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration
Physical Plant Monitors and oversees all MPOWER facilities to meet established standards
Strategic Execution Translate company Rocks and Vision into actionable plans for the therapy team Own and drive quarterly Rocks related to clinical operations
Qualifications
Degree in Physical Therapy and current licensure in the State of Tennessee required
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role
Familiarity with EOS or similar business operating systems is a plus
Experience managing multi-site or large therapy teams
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Deep understanding of physical and occupational therapy operations
Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
Data-driven decision-making
