Key Responsibilities Build and nurture relationships with volunteers, board members, corporate representatives, foundations, and current and prospective donors to develop a robust caseload. Manage a portfolio of 100-125 donors. Develop and implement a moves management plan for each qualified donor in your portfolio. Collaborate with market leadership, program, and communications teams to secure project information (budgets and program content) for creating compelling proposals and solicitations. Create and submit monthly reports detailing caseload activity and performance. Achieve a minimum of $750,000 to $1,300,000 in major gifts in your first year. Assist in the development of campaign packaging, pricing, and lead gifts for field staff proposals. Oversee stewardship for donors contributing $10,000 or more, in partnership with the stewardship advisor. Support corporate and foundation prospect solicitations; work collaboratively with various departments to achieve regional goals. Maintain effective working relationships with the Society's global headquarters and participate in regional and enterprise projects and committees as appropriate. Qualifications Bachelor's degree and a proven track record (5+ years) of securing gifts of $100,000 or more. Preferred Skills Exceptional oral and written communication skills; proficient in computer applications. Demonstrated success in securing 6-, 7-, and 8-figure gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations. Strong understanding of major gifts; sales management and campaign experience is highly desirable. Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with individuals, corporations, and foundations. Proficient in establishing collegial, effective working relationships with staff and volunteers. Strong financial acumen. Proven ability to generate leads for major giving opportunities from individuals and corporations. Act as an ambassador for the American Cancer Society and navigate a complex organizational structure. Specialized Training or Knowledge Experience with Salesforce is preferred. Work Environment Some travel may be required. The position primarily involves working in an office setting. The starting salary range is between $100,000 and $105,000, based on the candidate's relevant experience and skills, as well as non-discriminatory factors like geography and education.
