Interim Director of Pharmacy Southern California Community Hospital A well-regarded 120-bed hospital in Southern California is seeking an experienced Interim Director of Pharmacy to lead its pharmacy department through an important transition. This is an excellent opportunity to make an immediate impact in a collaborative, patient-focused setting that averages around 60 inpatients daily and uses Cerner for its pharmacy IT systems. Location: Southern California Duration: 4-month contract (Immediate start available) Schedule: MondayFriday, day shifts Key Responsibilities: Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) , ensuring full regulatory compliance at all times Oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations, including workflows, staffing, and inventory management Uphold the highest standards of patient care, safety, and clinical pharmacy practice Partner with hospital leadership to ensure seamless continuity of services until permanent leadership is in place Qualifications: Active California Pharmacist License (required) Proven track record in hospital pharmacy leadership, ideally at the Director level Confident in assuming PIC duties within a complex regulatory framework Ability to begin within one week of offer Why Consider This Role?
