Were looking for a Director of Performance Marketing to lead our Strategist and Media Buyer teams. This person will set strategic direction for our clients paid media accounts, guide execution across platforms like Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, and collaborate closely with our creative and production teams to drive real, trackable results.
This is a leadership role for someone whos analytical, creative, deeply experienced in performance media, and passionate about team development.
Responsibilities
Lead the Strategist and Media Buying teamscoaching, supporting, and growing top talent
Oversee performance strategy and execution across client accounts, ensuring consistent improvement in CAC, ROAS, LTV, and other key KPIs
Drive strategy planning, pacing, and reporting systems across all active clients
Collaborate closely with creative leads to brief high-performance content and validate creative testing frameworks
Manage budget allocations, testing plans, and platform strategies for multi-channel campaigns (Meta, YouTube, TikTok, Google, etc.)
Maintain visibility into client goals and proactively flag risks, wins, and optimizations
Contribute to new business pitches and forecasting as needed
Own cross-account performance benchmarks and operational standards
Qualifications
6+ years of experience in performance marketing, ideally in a paid social/digital agency environment
Proven leadership experience managing teams of media buyers or strategists
Deep understanding of attribution models, pixel/data setup, and media platform dynamics
Track record of optimizing campaigns across Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok, and YouTube
Familiarity with eCommerce, B2B, and service performance metrics (CPA, MER, LTV:CAC, blended ROAS, etc.)
Clear and confident communicatorcan translate numbers into stories for both internal teams and clients
Comfortable working alongside creatives and influencing content strategy based on performance data
Bonus Points
Familiarity with tools like Triple Whale, Northbeam, Motion, or Metas Conversion API
Background in creative testing frameworks or long-form video performance
Understanding of lifecycle marketing (email/SMS) or CRO best practices
