About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Human Resources to lead and oversee all aspects of HR operations within our healthcare organization. This role is critical in fostering a culture of excellence, ensuring compliance with healthcare labor regulations, and supporting our mission to deliver high-quality care through effective workforce management. The Director will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that attract, retain, and engage top talent while aligning with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance.
Partner with executive leadership to develop HR strategies that align with long-term organizational goals.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, healthcare-specific HR regulations, and accreditation standards (e.g., The Joint Commission).
Oversee workforce planning and succession planning initiatives.
Develop and manage employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and retention strategies.
Implement and refine HR policies and procedures in accordance with best practices and industry standards.
Support leadership development and training programs to strengthen management capabilities and employee performance.
Serve as a key advisor to leadership on employee matters, organizational culture, and strategic workforce issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree strongly preferred).
7 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
In-depth knowledge of healthcare HR laws, HRIS systems, and employee relations.
PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is highly preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to lead organizational change.
