Director of Patient Access & Brand Strategy

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Key Collaborators: Leaders of Sales, Clinical Operations, Surgical Operations, Business Operations, and Administration

Position Summary

We are seeking a mission-driven, hands-on Marketing Leader (Director of Patient Access & Brand Strategy) to drive the development and execution of an integrated system that enhances patient access, strengthens community awareness, and supports growth across all markets and service lines.

This role will build and professionalize a marketing and engagement function that aligns with the organization’s mission to deliver exceptional care and expand access responsibly and sustainably.

As a builder-leader, you’ll be standing up systems and strategies nearly from the ground up — including digital campaigns, referral outreach, brand messaging, pricing alignment, and data visibility — all while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efforts are grounded in clinical readiness, operational capability, and patient-centered values.

This leader will also serve as the connective tissue between marketing, technology platforms (Salesforce, Pardot), and the teams responsible for engaging both new and returning patients.

Core Responsibilities

Growth Strategy & Market Development

  • Design and implement a comprehensive patient access strategy that supports new market entry, patient engagement, and service line visibility.
  • Identify and prioritize micro-markets and community segments based on clinical and operational readiness.
  • Translate organizational growth goals into coordinated brand, outreach, and referral strategies.

Marketing & Communications Leadership

  • Develop integrated campaigns using Salesforce and Pardot (Account Engagement) to increase awareness and drive inbound interest.
  • Guide messaging across digital, print, and referral channels to reflect clinical excellence and community trust.
  • Ensure branding and communications are aligned with the organization’s values and regulatory expectations.

Partnership & Referral Engagement

  • Collaborate with patient engagement teams to support outreach to referring providers and community partners.
  • Support the development of materials, messaging, and tracking systems that empower those teams to educate and engage with external stakeholders.

Pricing, Access, and Market Insight

  • Partner with business and finance leaders to support strategic pricing that balances market expectations with value and access.
  • Develop segmentation strategies and tools to ensure appropriate messaging and pricing alignment across diverse markets.

Performance Reporting & System Infrastructure

  • Build and oversee dashboards, attribution models, and campaign reports using Salesforce and Pardot.
  • Establish KPIs that reflect campaign performance, patient access trends, and market penetration.
  • Introduce data visibility tools that align marketing, operations, and leadership on performance and next steps.

Cross-Functional Integration

  • Work closely with clinical and surgical operations to ensure outreach efforts align with provider availability, readiness, and patient journey touchpoints.
  • Partner with administration and business operations to ensure regulatory, compliance, and operational alignment in all communications.
  • Maintain a strong feedback loop with operational and patient-facing teams to continually refine brand and access strategies.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, growth strategy, or patient access, ideally within healthcare or multi-location service industries.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Pardot required; comfort with campaign building, automation, lead segmentation, and ROI tracking.
  • Proven track record of creating infrastructure and campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and measurable performance improvement.
  • Deep understanding of branding and outreach in highly regulated, patient-facing environments.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to partner across diverse teams and functions.

Success in This Role Looks Like

  • Clear, measurable increase in inbound patient interest and referral engagement.
  • Professionalized marketing systems that integrate seamlessly with clinical and operational workflows.
  • Consistent brand messaging that resonates with both patients and providers across all markets.
  • Data visibility and campaign reporting that informs strategic decisions at the executive level.
  • A strong foundation that supports scalable, sustainable growth across new and existing locations.
