The Director of Operations will be part of the leadership team and will represent the mission of the organization both internally and externally, with donors, community members, volunteers and staff. The Director will oversee the daily operations at the Bartholomew County facility including programming support, volunteers, office management, inventory, waitlist support, and grant management along with the Chief Operating Officer. The Director will implement Dove Recovery Program policies and guidelines while managing the Resident Advocate staff and leading the local team.

Additional duties may include:

  • Develop and maintain working relationships with community agencies and program development in partnership with Director of Clinical Services/therapist.
  • Serve in an on-call capacity on a rotating basis with other full-time staff members.
  • Resident mediation and support as needed in support of clinical team.
  • Ensure opportunities to sustain and or expand organizations portfolio of programs, services.
  • Develop and maintain continuity of operations, emergency and disaster response plans.
  • Supervise the facilities management process and ensure facility is well-maintained.
  • Facilitate IOP or other groups.
  • Maintain high-quality relationships and serve as agency liaison with grant funders. Ensure that grant outcomes are appropriately tracked and evaluated.
  • Identify/meet/and steward donors in conjunction with CEO.
