Position Summary: This position will help coordinate the operational and administrative activities of the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country/Track and Field program. These duties will range from interacting with current student-athletes, assisting with team travel, compiling and organizing recruiting material, to assisting with all Cross Country and Track home events. Conditions of Employment: Work schedule includes frequent evenings and weekends as well as overnight travel to sport events. Must meet physical requirements for the job, including the ability to withstand extreme weather conditions for prolonged periods of time. Yearly successful completion of NCAA compliance certification. CPR certification or obtained within six months of hire. This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position may be subject to overtime during high peak times, etc. as directed and approved by the supervisor. This position is restricted to funding.

High degree of computer proficiency in a variety of software applications, including MS Office (specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel). Demonstrated proficiency with technical applications and an enterprise student information system. Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and use initiative. Must be detail oriented and have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the sports of track & field and cross country.

Advertised Pay Range: $38,000-$42,000 Advertised Pay Range Statement: All hiring rates are commensurate with relevant experience up to the advertised amount considering internal alignment.
