Overview Director of Operations / Head of Innovation – Kendall, FL (On-site with flexibility) Are you equal parts operations expert and innovation leader? This role is designed for someone who can run a smooth, efficient business operation and bring fresh ideas to the table—especially when it comes to leveraging AI and emerging technologies to transform how we work. You’ll be a key partner to ownership, driving strategy, improving systems, and leading projects that directly impact revenue, efficiency, and client satisfaction. What You’ll Do Oversee daily operations: systems, policies, IT, HR, and finances. Partner with ownership to define KPIs and keep the firm on track to hit goals. Lead innovation initiatives, from process improvements to AI implementation. Supervise and mentor non-legal staff, building a culture of accountability and growth. Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and profitability analysis. Collaborate on marketing and growth strategies, including experimenting with AI-driven marketing tools. Champion the ethical and effective use of AI tools across the firm to save time, reduce costs, and deliver better client experiences. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in operations leadership (law firm or professional services a plus). Strong background in systems development, financial management, and HR. Curiosity and knowledge around AI applications in business (automation, analytics, legal tech, marketing, etc.). A balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution. Excellent leadership and communication skills—you know how to get things done and bring people with you. Success Looks Like Firm revenue and profit goals achieved. Operations running smoothly with clear KPIs. At least 2–3 innovation projects (including AI initiatives) successfully launched each year.
