About the Role
The Company is in search of a Director of Operations Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will be a key partner to senior leadership, providing critical analytical insights, managing operational expenses, and driving strategic initiatives to support profitable growth across the Americas region. This role is pivotal in overseeing budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and operational reporting, with a strong focus on continuous improvement in financial and operational processes. The Director will be responsible for business partnering, operational expense management, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and operational and SG&A reporting. Additionally, the role involves managing CAPEX forecasting, project tracking, and financial modeling for operational projects, as well as providing ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
Applicants for the Director of Operations Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA or MBA preferred. A minimum of 8 years' progressive financial accounting and analysis experience is required, particularly in manufacturing, seasonal, or international imports businesses. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in team development, project leadership, and effective communication with executive leadership. Key skills include a strong understanding of general accounting concepts, proficiency in financial modeling, and expertise in cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis. The role demands a professional with in-depth knowledge of operational performance metrics, manufacturing processes, and seasonal business dynamics, as well as a continuous improvement mindset and high personal accountability.
