This role is critical duringtransitional periods and requires strong leadership, communication, andclinical expertise.RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environmentConduct performance evaluations and facilitate professional development for nursing personnelManage staffing levels, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet patient care needsEnsure the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate patient careMonitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiativesCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plansEnsure compliance with state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and agency policiesPrepare for and participate in inspections and auditsAssist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing policies and proceduresStay current with best practices in nursing and healthcare to ensure high standards of careAssist in budget preparation and management for the nursing departmentMonitor expenditures and implement cost-effective practicesServe as a liaison between nursing staff, administration, and other departmentsFacilitate regular meetings to address issues, share updates, and promote teamworkOther Duties as AssignedREQUIREMENTS:Registered Nurse licensure required; Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferredCurrentand valid nursing license in the state of practiceMinimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership roleProven experience in managing nursing staff and operationsStrong clinical assessment and critical thinking skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsProficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare technologiesStrong leadership and decision-making abilitiesAdaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to patient-centered care and nursing excellenceRA1
