```Job Overview:``` We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing care within our facility. This is a leadership role that requires excellent clinical knowledge, strong management skills, and the ability to provide guidance and support to our nursing staff. ```Duties:``` - Develop and implement care plans for patients, ensuring that they receive appropriate and individualized care - Coordinate and supervise nursing staff, including assigning duties and monitoring performance - Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care for patients - Stay up-to-date with current healthcare regulations and guidelines, including HIPAA compliance - Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in complex patient cases or challenging situations - Oversee the maintenance of accurate patient records and documentation - Conduct regular performance evaluations for nursing staff and provide feedback for improvement - Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and other safety measures - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives ```Qualifications:``` - Experience in post acute care nursing leadership -Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred - Current state nursing license - In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology - Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in using electronic medical record systems - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to ensure compliance within the nursing department If you are a dedicated and experienced nurse leader looking for an opportunity to make a difference in patient care, we invite you to apply for the position of Director of Nursing.
