Independence Healthcare LLC - Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate  Director of Nursing (DON)  to lead our clinical team at Abode Health and Wellness Center. The  DON  will be responsible for overseeing the nursing department, ensuring high-quality care, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the nursing department, including supervision of all nursing staff
Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in line with federal, state, and facility regulations
Ensure delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care consistent with best practices
Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation for patient care, incident reports, and staff evaluations
Conduct regular staff training and performance reviews to ensure clinical excellence
Serve as the primary clinical leader and resource for nursing staff and other departments
Stay updated on changes in healthcare regulations and best practices
Act as a liaison between residents, families, and staff to address concerns and promote satisfaction
Qualifications: Current RN license in good standing
Nursing leadership experience preferred in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations
Experience with EHR systems and quality assurance programs is a plus
Strong commitment to quality resident care and staff development
