Director of Nursing

The  Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for the administrative and clinical supervision of direct patient care including effective utilization of the nursing process to provide quality care, establish standards of practice, and provide effective fiscal management.  Ensures quality client care that is in compliance with regulatory requirements, professional standards and the facility's policies and procedures. Provides leadership in maintaining standards for professional Nursing practice in the clinical setting.  This individual will also serve as the Infection Control  (IC) Nurse who is responsible for coordinating the activities of the Infection Control Program.

Qualifications
Qualifications
Current license to practice in the State of Indiana. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.  Master’s Degree preferred. Three (3) years’ experience in Nursing Administration or Leadership required. Knowledge of State and Regulatory requirements.
