Job specification

Provide overall managerial direction and 24-hour accountability for all perioperative services, ensuring smooth clinical and non-clinical operations. Oversee and coordinate activities in Operating Room, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Outpatient Surgery, GI Lab, Sterile Processing, Cath Lab, Surgery, Ambulatory Surgery Center, and Donor Network . Develop, implement, and oversee strategies to enhance patient care quality, safety, and efficiency . Lead nursing staff development initiatives , ensuring continued education, training, and competency in perioperative care. Collaborate with hospital leadership and department heads to align surgical services with hospital-wide objectives and regulatory compliance . Drive process improvement efforts to optimize resource utilization, budget management, and operational effectiveness . Foster a positive and collaborative work environment , ensuring high staff engagement, retention, and professional growth. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation standards related to perioperative services. Candidate requirements Required: Academic degree in nursing . Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing or a related field. Required: Minimum 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse . Active and unrestricted CA Registered Nurse (RN) license - Required. Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers (AHA certified) - Required. Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) - Strongly preferred
