We are seeking a professional responsible for all aspects of employee management, departmental management, and creating a professional practice environment that emphasizes patient safety, customer service, infectious disease identification, surveillance, epidemiologic investigation, and transmission prevention. This role involves working twenty hours a week in Infection Prevention. Key responsibilities include planning, coordinating, organizing, monitoring, and implementing activities within the department, along with employee performance management. The role ensures efficient department operations, compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and licensing or certification requirements. The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to handle pressure, meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, adapt to changing situations, and manage conflicts effectively. The role requires adherence to all licensing board or agency requirements and Benefis Health System policies and procedures. Education/License/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in nursing, business, or a healthcare-related field preferred Current state registered nurse license required One to three years of management or supervisory experience in healthcare BLS certification Infection prevention certification (to be obtained within 6 months of employment)
