Job Description:  We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in long-term care and a passion for improving the quality of life for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department.
Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.
Manage and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
Monitor and evaluate resident care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
Handle resident and family concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Qualifications:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio.
Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in a long-term care setting.
Previous leadership experience in a nursing role.
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a team.
