Overview MedStar Washington Hospital Center—one of the region's largest and most respected academic medical centers—is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Director of Nursing to lead our Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team. Key Responsibilities Provide 24/7 operational and clinical leadership for the CVOR, overseeing nursing practice, patient care quality, staffing, and budget management. Ensure excellence in surgical care delivery while driving performance improvement initiatives. Serve as a strategic partner to physician leaders, perioperative services, and hospital administration. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing or healthcare-related field preferred. CVOR nursing experience is required. Previous nursing leadership or management experience is strongly preferred. Active RN licensure in the District of Columbia.
