We're looking for a Director of Nursing who can bring structure, accountability, and leadership to our outpatient surgery center in McKinney, TX- and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and work alongside the team. Competitive Compensation: $105,000 - $115,000 annual salary plus medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability benefits. What You Will Do Serve as both a leader and an active member of the clinical team, regularly assisting with patient care in the OR, Pre-op, or PACU as needed. Supervise and support a small team of both full-time and part-time nurses. Set expectations and hold staff accountable while fostering a culture of professionalism, communication, and accountability. Manage staffing, scheduling, compliance, and performance for the nursing department. Address staff concerns directly and professionally, fostering a more accountable and collaborative work environment. Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and administration to ensure smooth operations and outstanding patient outcomes. Promote a safe, positive patient experience from Pre-op through PACU. You'll Know You're a Good Fit for This Role If You Have... A current RN license and 5+ years of progressive nursing experience, including leadership responsibilities. Strong preference for candidates with nursing experience in an OR Circulator and/or Pre-op/PACU role. A calm, confident presence with the ability to handle interpersonal challenges and team tensions constructively. The desire to be a visible, engaged leader who doesn't shy away from pitching in clinically. A strong presence and the communication skills to lead through challenge and change. Experience managing difficult personalities and navigating workplace dynamics with professionalism and resolve. A proactive mindset with a focus on solutions, systems, and long-term improvement.
