Sign on Bonus : $5000 Overview: A Center for Nursing and Healing, an SNF, is seeking a Director of Nursing in Sandy Springs, GA. Essential Functions: Ensure quality and safe delivery of health services to residents. Implement physician-formulated care plans. Document care accurately and timely. Monitor Medication Technicians' medication administration per physician orders and document on EMAR. Assemble and verify resident charts and records. Prepare incident/accident reports, notify physicians and families, and document appropriately. Maintain a safe working environment following clinical standards. Assist residents with self-care activities. Organize and supervise staff and resources. Recognize emergencies and act accordingly. Maintain confidentiality and resident rights. Develop schedules and supervise staff. Maintain engaging ADL programs supporting resident preferences. Create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment. Respond promptly and courteously to concerns. Ensure resident safety through regular rounds. Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director. Understand and communicate emergency procedures, safety protocols, and infection control standards. Qualifications: Licensed Registered Nurse in Sandy Springs, GA. 3-5 years of nursing experience in a healthcare facility. Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
