Alerion Healthcare is recruiting an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing (DON), for a full-time position. in a Skilled Nursing Center.
As an Director of Nursing, you will work in Minoa, NY.  As a growing healthcare facility, they provide a secure environment and opportunities for advancement, along with a supportive atmosphere.  The annual salary is ranges from $120,000 to $130,000, compensation depending on expertise, experience and credentials.
The ideal candidate will hold a current NYS RN license , 5 years of experience in a   long-term care facility, and have 2 years of solid supervisory and leadership experience.  Additionally, 2 years of prior Director of Nursing (DON) experience  is required.
Responsibilities:
Supervising all nursing staff in the facility Development and implementation of nursing policy and procedure Overseeing the hiring and continued employment of nursing staff Ensuring there is adequate nursing staff, and that the staff’s skills remain current Overseeing nursing employee conduct Being knowledgeable of incidents at the facility Assessing the health needs of each resident
