Cokesbury Village is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Director of Nursing (DON) in our skilled nursing neighborhood. Our beautiful, gated community is located in Hockessin, DE.
In this role, you will be responsible for administering the nursing program to maintain standards of resident care and advise clinical staff, department heads, and the Executive Director on matters related to nursing services. Directs the planning, implementing, and evaluation of the nursing care for residents. Requirements
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred) Current State Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of five years' clinical experience in the field of geriatric healthcare Minimum of two years’ management/supervisory experience in a long-term care setting Knowledge of principles of nursing care, and Federal and State regulations governing long-term care facilities Team members are eligible for a generous benefit package including health benefits (medical, prescription, dental and vision), flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability programs, 401(k) plan (with 4% company match after one year of employment), paid time off and holidays, and much more!
