Covington Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation is a 65 - bed skilled nursing facility located in the heart of East Palestine, Ohio who is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team and provide quality care to our residents in a nursing home setting. The successful candidate will have experience working with geriatrics and long-term care, as well as a passion for providing compassionate and attentive care.

Responsibilities of Director of Nursing (DON)

·         Lead, mentor, and support our nursing staff to deliver outstanding resident-centered care

·         Ensure compliance with all state and federal guidelines and nursing best practices

·         Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote high standards of care

·         Drive clinical outcomes, staff education, and a positive team culture

·         Manage schedules, staffing, and departmental operations

Requirements of a Director of Nursing (DON)

·         Licensed RN in the state of Ohio (required)

·         Proven experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in long-term or skilled care

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·         A bility to lead with empathy, integrity, and excellence

·         A passion for innovation, quality improvement, and resident advocacy
