Tucker House Nursing and Rehab - Tucker House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team. Located in the heart of Philadelphia, Tucker House is a 180-bed facility committed to excellence in long-term care, rehabilitation, and resident-centered services.
Position Overview:
The Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department to ensure the delivery of high-quality care that meets all regulatory and clinical standards. This is a key leadership role that requires clinical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and a passion for resident advocacy and staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and mentor the nursing staff to promote high standards of care.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and maintain survey readiness.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care.
Oversee infection control, quality assurance, and risk management programs.
Drive staffing efficiency, training initiatives, and employee engagement.
Qualifications:
Current RN license in Pennsylvania (BSN required; MSN or higher preferred).
Minimum 1 year of experience as a DON or in a senior nursing leadership role.
Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations, clinical systems, and best practices.
Proven track record in survey performance, staff development, and resident satisfaction.
