Director of Nursing, Behavioral Healthcare Organization A non-profit behavioral health care organization providing holistic and client-centered services in a safe environment that address the full continuum of special care needs including detox, treatment, behavioral and medical healthcare, life-skills, counseling, and case management for the state of Louisiana is seeking a Director of Nursing The Nursing Director will plan, direct, and oversee all agency nursing personnel by developing and implementing nursing policies, objectives, and initiatives. This position will review nursing department operations agency-wide to ensure all patients receive the highest quality of care and staff follow established standards. The Nursing Director will advise medical staff and Program Managers in matters related to nursing service and interpret policies and objectives of nursing service to staff. This position will be responsible for developing major nursing goals to support agency objectives. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Active Louisiana RN license. At least 5 years of managerial experience. At least 2 years Substance Abuse/Psychiatry experience.
