Director of Marketing and Fundraising

Status: Exempt - Executive

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

KCCDD is looking for an enthusiastic, development-minded individual to become an integral part of the leadership team as the organization embarks upon exciting future plans with big ideas.

The Director of Marketing and Fundraising is responsible for the oversight and implementation of organizational development activities and community engagement and awareness. This position will provide exciting opportunities to share new ideas, build a strategic approach to philanthropic activities, and grow the department while making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

Some duties may include:

Responsible for donor marketing and management. Responsible for implementation and oversight of funding development strategies that support the ongoing financial needs of KCCDD and advance the organizational mission. Serves as chairperson of the Board's development committee. Ensures community engagement through strategic connections with community entities and organizational personnel. Responsible for design and distribution of the agency's newsletter, annual reports, brochures, flyers, etc. Oversees agency's public relations activities. Develops a comprehensive communication plan to promote the organization to its donors and maximize public awareness of the fundraising and general activities of the organization.

B.S. or B.A. in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, etc. preferred.

Salary commensurate with experience.
