Director of Product and Market Development – Professional Services
WebCE is seeking a strategic and innovative Director of Product and Market Development over the Professional Services team to lead growth across the Tax and Accounting, Funeral, and Real Estate product lines. This role is ideal for a seasoned leader with expertise in market strategy, partnership development, and product innovation. The Director will oversee a senior team of Content and Curriculum Development Directors, ensuring products exceed customer expectations, differentiate in the market, and drive revenue and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
On a daily basis, you will focus on driving revenue growth and expanding market share by analyzing sales performance, interpreting market signals, and identifying strategic opportunities. You will assess where WebCE fits within the competitive landscape, uncover reasons for missed opportunities, and develop actionable plans to address gaps. A key part of your role will be coordinating cross-functional efforts to capture the voice of the customer-ensuring feedback is systematically gathered, analyzed, and translated into strategic direction. Our Content and Curriculum Development Directors report to this role. Your focus will be on aligning their output with broader market and revenue goals. You will also lead efforts to define product-market fit, guide go-to-market strategies, and support the development of offerings that resonate with target audiences and meet evolving industry demands.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, with at least 10 years of experience in product management-preferably within Tax and Accounting. CPA or EA credentials are preferred. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization and interpret market data and financial metrics. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential. Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are required.
Physical Requirements
Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Corporate Office in Dallas, TX; Hybrid work available. Strong preference for candidates located within the DFW metroplex.
Comfort with prolonged desk work involving computer and phone use.
Ability to occasionally lift items weighing up to 10-15 pounds.
Willingness to travel up to 10% per year.
