We are seeking an experienced Director of Manufacturing to lead and oversee our assembly, warehouse, and procurement operations. This role will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, strong cross-department coordination, and continuous improvement across all areas of operations. The ideal candidate has a proven ability to manage people, processes, and resources in a fast-paced environment where assembly and fulfillment are central to success. This position works in a team environment at our office in Newburgh, IN. This is not a remote position.
This position reports to the Vice President of Manufacturing.
Duties and Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Lead and oversee all manufacturing operations, including supply chain, assembly, warehousing, and customer success.
Ensure efficient production, on-time delivery, quality control, and adherence to safety standards.
Oversee day-to-day operations while driving alignment with company goals and growth objectives.
Champion lean principles, best practices, and new technologies to improve processes and maintain a competitive edge.
Strategy & Performance Management
Develop and implement operational strategies in line with company objectives.
Establish and monitor KPIs to track performance, identify gaps, and drive productivity improvements.
Manage budgets, resource allocation, and capital projects within the manufacturing function.
Partner with cross-functional leaders (engineering, sales, customer service, and quality) to align production with demand and resolve issues.
Champion value engineering initiatives to optimize product cost and performance without compromising quality.
Supply Chain & Procurement Oversight
Oversee procurement activities to ensure reliable vendor relationships, competitive pricing, and timely material availability.
Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to optimize inventory, warehousing, and material flow.
People Leadership & Culture
Provide clear leadership and direction to managers and supervisors across supply chain, assembly, warehouse, and customer success teams.
Coach, mentor, and develop staff to strengthen capabilities and prepare future leaders.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure full compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Uphold company policies, ethical standards, and operational excellence across all functions.
Qualifications & Competencies

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of driving operational excellence and leading high-performing teams.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with budgeting, resource planning, and project management.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
Working Conditions
Office and manufacturing floor environment. Occasional travel may be required.
