TAT Technologies is a fast-growing profitable provider of aerospace thermal management, power and actuation products and repair services. We are a Nasdaq traded company with over 70 years in the A&D industry. In the last 3 years we have outperformed the industry with revenue growth and profitability. As the company continues to organically grow fast, we seek to expand our growth strategy by acquisitions. With a very strong momentum in the capital markets and back up from the lending industry, TAT is ready to start growing much faster. The Director of M&A is responsible for leading the company’s mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments. You will oversee all aspects of the deal lifecycle, from origination and due diligence to negotiation, integration, and post-deal value creation. The role requires strategic thinking, analytical prowess, and strong stakeholder management skills to drive growth and shareholder value. Responsibilities: Lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of M&A opportunities aligned with the company's strategic objectives. Conduct comprehensive market research, financial analysis, and valuation modeling to support deal decisions. Manage the due diligence process, coordinating internal teams and external advisors (investment banks, legal, accounting). Negotiate deal terms, structure transactions, and oversee transaction closing activities. Develop integration plans post-acquisition to realize synergies and ensure seamless transition. Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment to identify opportunities and risks. Present insights, recommendations, and deal updates to senior management and the Board of Directors. Support post-merger integration efforts to maximize value realization. Maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including advisors, partners, and target companies. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred. 8+ years of experience in M&A, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, or related functions. Proven track record of successful M&A transactions across various industries. Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively across functions. Project management skills with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple deals simultaneously. Familiarity with legal and regulatory aspects of M&A transactions. Strategic thinking and business acumen. Stong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communicator and influencer. High ethical standards and integrity. Ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlines. Preferred: Experience working internationally or across diverse markets.
