Levy Gardens Assisted Living is seeking a qualified and dedicated Director to oversee the assisted living programs and building operations. The Director is responsible for administering the day-to-day operations of the facility in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, ensuring the highest degree of personal care, quality, and satisfaction for our tenants.
Oversee planning, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of program services.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing assisted living facilities.
Promote a team-based, tenant-centered environment across all departments.
Lead and evaluate staff; manage hiring, scheduling, training, and performance.
Maintain updated policies and procedures and oversee quality assurance processes.
Coordinate tenant move-ins, service plans, and ensure health and safety through regular facility oversight.
Manage budgets, payroll, invoices, and collections; support occupancy growth and marketing.
Oversee transportation services, vehicle maintenance, and interdepartmental billing.
Collaborate with other Federation departments and participate in internal committees.
Uphold and appreciate the values and traditions of the Jewish faith.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in nursing, business or gerontology (or related field) preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in a senior care facility is required. Proven track record in developing, implementing and evaluating resident care systems. Demonstrate working knowledge of computer and software systems including documents and spreadsheets. Should possess excellent people skills and the ability to relate to high functioning seniors in a sensitive, caring and professional way.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
1. Exposed to body fuids, infection, odors, and behavior of tenants.
2. Exposed to chemical/cleaning solutions.
3. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably.
4. Certain activities may require repetitive movements such as crouching, pushing and pulling.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
1. Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
2. Must possess sight/hearing senses, or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability in order to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
