With offices throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region, we are seeking a Business Development Manager in our Landover, MD office. Position Summary: Reporting to the VP of Retail Customer Sales, the Business Development Manager will lead all sales and marketing efforts in our Potomac business unit, developing strategies and delivering operational goals across the organization. The Business Development Manager will build plans to deliver leading sales growth with key customers, develop and execute customized marketing programs, and cultivate a growth-minded culture with an emphasis on people development. Additional responsibilities include: Build sales and marketing plans to deliver leading market growth across our beverage portfolio in all national and regional accounts. Partner with partner brands teams to develop customized marketing and activation plans across all channels of trade. Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams to ensure objectives are met and aligned across the organization. Manage a team by coaching and counseling; and providing support as needed. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 5 years of Sales/Marketing Management experience; OR 7 years of Sales/Marketing Management experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong working relationships with internal/external teams. Prefer prior experience in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) markets in delivering solutions. This position requires you to work out of our office in Landover, MD, and will require 20-25% travel to other office locations and customer sites. We offer competitive compensation and benefits.
