Director of Insights & Analytics
New Yesterday
We’re supporting a growing food & beverage brand—backed by a passionate leadership team—as they expand their Insights & Analytics function. This newly created role will play a critical part in helping the organization turn data into direction. You’ll partner closely with brand and innovation leaders to answer big business questions, guide go-to-market planning, and influence how performance is tracked across consumer, category, and channel levels.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves using data to fuel strategy—and who thrives on connecting the dots between consumer behavior, brand performance, and commercial growth.
Director of Insights & Analytics Responsibilities:
Serve as the right-hand insights partner to the marketing and innovation teams, helping to shape brand plans, product pipeline strategy, and in-market execution.
Work with syndicated data sources (Nielsen, Circana, Kantar, etc.) and internal KPIs to uncover what’s working, what’s shifting, and where to focus next.
Build frameworks for measuring performance across campaigns, categories, and channels—helping senior leaders make informed, data-backed decisions.
Package complex data into simple, compelling stories that resonate with cross-functional partners and executive teams.
Identify where insights processes can be improved or scaled, and propose new ways of working to enhance data fluency across the organization.
Oversee and mentor a high-performing insights professional while working collaboratively with global insights partners.
Director of Insights & Analytics Requirements:
8–12+ years in insights, analytics, or strategic planning roles within the CPG or food/bev space.
A mix of strategic thinking and hands-on analytics—you know how to dig into the numbers but also when to pull up and drive big-picture thinking.
Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment across marketing, innovation, sales, and finance.
Familiarity with industry-standard tools like Nielsen, Circana, Power BI; technical expertise is not required, but comfort with data storytelling is essential.
A pragmatic problem-solver who doesn’t get lost in analysis paralysis and can adapt quickly in a growth-focused environment.
Apply today if the above matches your skillsets!
