***This position requires an Active U.S. Security Clearance (Secret or above)*** Are you a hands-on technologist with deep DevOps expertise and a passion for building secure, scalable infrastructure for government environments? We're looking for a Director of Technology to lead and contribute directly to the delivery of a complex Azure Government Cloud solution for a high-impact federal project. This role is ideal for someone with 8–10 years of experience who still enjoys rolling up their sleeves—building, automating, mentoring, and solving hard infrastructure challenges—while also driving strategic initiatives and leading a small, agile team. Responsibilities: Architect and lead the deployment of secure, scalable infrastructure in Azure Gov Cloud Write and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform Drive CI/CD pipeline development (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) Collaborate with software, security, and architecture teams to embed DevOps best practices Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve performance, reliability, and compliance Ensure FedRAMP, DoD, and other compliance standards are consistently met Mentor junior engineers while remaining hands-on with day-to-day engineering Serve as a technical liaison with internal teams and government stakeholders Required Skills/Experience: ***Active U.S. Security Clearance (Secret or above)*** 8–10 years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE roles Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (preferably Azure Gov Cloud) Expert in Terraform and modern IaC practices Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash Proven CI/CD pipeline expertise Strong foundation in cloud security, networking, and compliance Experience with Docker/Kubernetes Excellent communicator who can translate tech-speak for non-technical audiences Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience in regulated/government environments (DoD, FedRAMP) Familiarity with Azure Policy, Security Center, or Sentinel Prior experience mentoring or leading DevOps teams ECCO Select’s Comprehensive Benefits: PTO + Paid Holidays 401(k) plan + company match Life & Health Employee Assistance Program Our Commitment ECCO Select is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
