Human Resources DirectorAbout the Role: The Human Resources Director implements the company's HR strategy providing HR guidance, tools, and support to local management teams daily. This position will represent the HR function by demonstrating the highest level of integrity at all times, sharing Transdev's vision and operating principles. Collaborate with the labor relations team to negotiate collective bargaining agreements and work with the labor team as necessary. Attractive benefits package, including 401(k) with company contribution, medical, dental and vision Paid time off & vacation Key Responsibilities: Identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, processes Identify needs, monitor recruiting efforts and adjust strategy where needed to attract talent to fill open positions Implement appropriate learning initiatives for cross-functional cohesiveness and assist in developing high-impact goals, including the areas of retraining and performance management Participate in the collective bargaining process between the Company and the labor unions Review and benchmark internal and external policies, procedures, and initiatives to enhance overall business performance Provide expert advice and coaching to management and employees Understand management and employee opinions and anticipate needs and concerns Maintain close contact with the Corporate HR team/functional departments to ensure HR strategies are aligned and properly implemented. Develop and maintain relationships with the local union and employee representation Manage all HR functions Consistent travel between two market locationsrequired Monitor processes and policies to ensure compliance with all functional state and federal regulations, rules, and laws, ., Title VII, ADA, EEO, Affirmative Action, etc. Qualifications:Education, Licensing, and Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field 5–7 years of progressive HR leadership experience PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred Experience: Experience overseeing large location with greater than 500 employees Experience working in a union environment; assisting with union negotiations/grievances Comprehensive knowledge of human resource rules and regulations at the federal and state level Knowledge payroll rules and wage and hour regulations preferred
