Job Details
Position Overview The HR Director will be responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the firm, specifically in the areas of talent management, change management, benefits management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation. The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team and will foster a culture that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
Talent Management: Develop programs for recruiting, training, and retaining top talent.
Employee Relations: Address employee concerns and promote a positive work environment.
Policy Development: Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
Benefits Management: Design, implement, and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee wellness initiatives.
Payroll Management: Ensure timely and accurate payroll submissions, including proper withholdings.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the firm's goals.
Performance Management: Implement and oversee performance management systems to ensure employee productivity and development.
Technology Innovation: Identify and implement software solutions to create efficiencies in the hiring, onboarding, performance evaluation, skills development, and other HR functions.
Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace.
HR Metrics: Utilize HR metrics to provide insights and guide decision-making processes. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in a law firm or legal services company.
Extensive experience in talent management, strategic planning, and policy development.
Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead an HR team and work collaboratively with other departments.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. Salary and Benefits
