It is built to connect, empower, and be owned by everyone.About the RoleTools for Humanity is seeking a strategic, high-agency leader to serve as the VP of Global Corporate Communications. This role serves as the day-to-day leader of the global comms function, partnering closely with the CCO to define, operationalize, and scale a best-in-class integrated communications engine. Based in San Francisco, you will oversee corporate, executive, US, crisis and consumer communications, and own the systems that drive narrative integration and coordination across pillars and regions.You will be central to defining and executing our global narrative, ensuring coherence across product, policy, and regional workstreams, while also rolling up your sleeves to write, plan, coordinate, and guide. You will also serve as a strategic partner to senior leaders, external agencies, and cross-functional counterparts to help drive our mission forward with clarity and impact.What You’ll DoNarrative & Executive CommunicationsLead the development of TFH’s core corporate and executive messaging, in alignment with our global mission and narrative pillarsManage thought leadership platforms for the CEO and executive benchLead strategic comms moments including product narratives, brand milestones, and external partnershipsCoordinate executive briefings, op-eds, speaking engagements, and high-stakes media opportunitiesCoordinate global narrative across teams, markets, and media tiers, including top-tier international press and cross-functional messaging disciplineComms Strategy & OperationsDesign and run a global comms planning system (tiering, editorial cadence, campaign calendar)Integrate corporate, product, policy, and regional communications into one cohesive strategyDefine frameworks that guide narrative architecture, prioritization, and approval workflowsServe as the connective tissue across the comms team and its cross-functional partnersIssues, Policy & Crisis ResponsePartner with policy, legal, market operations and regional leads to manage risk and develop proactive positionsBuild a crisis comms playbook and serve as a lead for reputational response momentsSupport transparency and trust with stakeholders in moments of scrutiny or regulatory interestUS Communications LeadershipLead all US communications efforts, acting as both the regional media lead and a strategic driver of message alignment across global outlets and narrativesSupport verification center storytelling, local media engagement, and visibility in key US citiesCoordinate with marketing, policy, and exec comms to align messaging across national campaigns, product launches, and regulatory momentsAct as point of contact for US-based press, issues response, and local partner commsHelp shape how World ID, World App, and World Chain are understood and adopted across technical, consumer, and government audiencesTeam Development & IntegrationDirectly manage key functional leads across corporate, consumer, and comms ops functions, ensuring clarity, cohesion, and collaboration across the orgMentor and empower high-performing ICs and build clarity across the orgAct as a steady hand and culture-setter, bringing high standards and low drama to a fast-moving environmentCross-Functional LeadershipPartner with product, engineering, policy, marketing, and international teams to ensure comms is aligned to core business and reputational goalsAct as CCO’s proxy in SF and ensure exec alignment and visibility into comms prioritiesRepresent comms in cross-functional planning and help shape internal prioritizationEnsure the comms team is tightly integrated into product and go-to-market planning cyclesAbout You20+ years of experience in strategic communications, with deep experience in corporate, executive, and/or product comms for global organizationsProven track record of operating in fast-moving, high-stakes environments (tech, fintech, AI, crypto, or regulated spaces a plus)Strong experience building narrative architecture and integrating comms systems across large or globally distributed teamsDeep media relationships and passion for engaging with mediaExceptional writing, editing, and message development skills for a range of audiences and formatsTrusted leadership style, clear, calm, direct, and collaborativeExperience managing people, agencies, and cross-functional workstreamsExperience leading integrated comms teams across multiple audience types (e.g., consumer, developer, policy, crypto/web3)Strong operator with a systems mindset—able to run a comms function like a business unit, with clear roles, metrics, and operating rhythmsComfortable managing ambiguity, guiding under pressure, and scaling what worksStrong media instincts and relationships with tech, business, or policy press preferredExperience with Web3, privacy, or financial technologies a plusBased in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area; some travel requiredPay transparency statement (for CA and NY based roles):The reasonably estimated salary for this role at TFH ranges from $200k - 250k plus a competitive long term incentive package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
