Position Summary The Director of Franchise Operations is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team of Franchise Business Consultants (FBCs) to provide strategic guidance and operational support to Blaze Pizza franchisees and above-store leaders. This role is focused on driving sales growth, improving profitability, and ensuring operational excellence across the franchise system. Acting as the primary liaison between Blaze Pizza’s Support Center and the franchise community, the Director ensures alignment with brand strategies, fosters strong franchisee relationships, and champions initiatives that deliver exceptional guest experiences and sustainable business success. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and develop the Franchise Business Consultant team, setting clear expectations, performance goals, and development plans. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the FBC team. Provide coaching and tools to equip FBCs to be trusted advisors to franchisees. Franchisee Consultation & Support Partner with FBCs to guide franchisees and above-store leaders in executing brand strategies that drive sales, manage costs, and enhance profitability. Collaborate with franchise owners to develop business plans, set performance targets, and implement operational best practices. Ensure franchisees understand and comply with brand standards, policies, and procedures while encouraging innovative local marketing initiatives. Operational Excellence & Growth Oversee execution of key operational initiatives, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to Blaze Pizza standards. Monitor business performance metrics across the system and work with FBCs to address underperforming locations through targeted action plans. Partner cross-functionally with Training, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Development teams to support new restaurant openings, remodels, and system rollouts. Strategic Leadership Contribute to the development of operational strategies that align with Blaze Pizza’s growth goals and brand vision. Analyze market trends, financial results, and guest feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. Serve as a senior liaison to the franchise community, fostering trust, engagement, and a shared commitment to success. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred. Minimum 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in multi-unit franchise or restaurant operations. Proven experience leading field operations teams with measurable success in sales growth and profitability improvement. Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities. Solid business acumen with the ability to interpret financial reports and operational data to drive decision-making. Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operational analysis tools. Ability to travel up to 50% to support field operations.
