KBW has teamed up with a growing biotech/life sciences company in Boston, in search of a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing organization and help develop / build upon the R&D financial planning & analysis function. The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis will focus on and drive the FP&A process and be a business partner to the R&D team. Responsibilities will include: Develop annual budgets, forecasts and reporting Support updates to financial models Various strategic scenario plans, long range plans Business development and planning Internal reporting packages, calendar, deliverables Complex financial analysis Present to the Board of Directors Special projects as needed The ideal candidate will have the following experience: 7+ years of progressive finance experience Experience in life sciences or biotech environments Heavy experience in R&D support (Discovery, Research and Clinical) Excellent communications skills Self-started with strong analytical skills Ability to lead projects and influence the business Excellent compensation package
