This landmark hotel in Flushing, NY, will feature two cutting-edge restaurants, a large banquet hall, and outdoor terraces, all dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
About the Role: The Director of Food and Beverage will play a critical role in shaping the culinary landscape of The Rhyland Hotel. This position is perfect for a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and excellence in the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the entire food and beverage department, ensuring seamless operations across all outlets. Develop and implement strategies to enhance profitability and efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service. Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create exciting menus that reflect the modern American fare and the bounty of New York State. Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial planning for the food and beverage department. Lead, train, and inspire a large team of food and beverage professionals. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. Experience and Skills Qualifications: Proven track record as a Director of Food and Beverage or similar leadership role in a high-end hotel or resort. Strong operational knowledge with a proven ability to drive revenue and control costs. Excellent leadership skills with a focus on staff development and team building.
