Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Director of Financial Reporting to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $, to $, per year.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and Proxy statements.
Ensure GAAP compliance for product costs, inventory, and warranty accounting, including maintaining all related reserves.
Coordinate the annual audit and quarterly reviews with external auditors, including preparing audit schedules and technical memos.
Prepare monthly financial statements and assist with the distribution of the Annual Report.
Support the CFO with ad hoc projects, special reporting, and financial analysis as needed.
Requirements:
Demonstrate strong knowledge of GAAP, FASB pronouncements, and SOX compliance.
Utilize integrated accounting software, report writers, and the Microsoft Office Suite proficiently.
Communicate effectively and lead with professionalism, accountability, and motivation.
Accept new challenges with enthusiasm and maintain a calm, mature demeanor.
Collaborate across departments and contribute to a high-performing finance team.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited institution.
Maintain an active CPA license.
5+ years of experience at a national CPA firm, preferably Big 4.
3+ years of direct SEC reporting experience.
Leverage experience with MAS / or similar ERP systems to support reporting functions.
