Zafran is hiring a Director of Finance in Tel Aviv to join our fast-growing startup. As our first in-house Director of Finance, you'll build the foundation of our finance function from the ground up. This is a hands-on role where you'll own day-to-day operations while creating scalable processes for our future growth. You'll work directly with leadership to drive informed strategic decisions in a collaborative, high-impact environment. Responsibilities Take ownership of our finance operations as we transition from outsourced to in-house Manage end-to-end finance operations: bookkeeping, AP/AR, payroll, expense management, and month-end close Build systems and processes that scale – implementing tools and workflows that grow with us Review financial and legal aspects of contracts with vendors, customers, and partners Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting – your insights will shape company direction Partner across teams on financial analysis and performance measurement Collaborate with external accountants, tax advisors, and auditors for compliance and reporting Requirements CPA with Big 4 experience 3-5 years in a similar role at a global high-tech company or a successful startup Financial modeling expertise and advanced skills in Google Sheets, plus experience with financial/GTM tools (NetSuite, Salesforce preferred) Systems implementation experience – you've built processes and automations before Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Legal background – an advantage SaaS/Cybersecurity experience – an advantage Entrepreneurial mindset – ready to take on varied projects and responsibilities Independent, proactive, detail-oriented – you get things done
