Midwest Professional Staffing is partnering with a non-profit for their next Director of Finance. This non-profit has strong revenue streams with high profile advocacy. This role will report to the Deputy Directory while overseeing a team of four. Our client offers competitive benefits, flexibility, and strong training. Duties Prepare financial reports and analysis for foundation Provide oversight of revenue recognition for non-profit accounting contributions and lease accounting Work with BOD for periodic review and funding, present annual budget Responsible for cash assets and bank accounts, complete bank reconciliations, review journal entries, and maintain ledgers Improve current controls and processes Responsible for annual reviews and managing external relationships including public accounting firm, bank, and benefits High level oversight of Human Resource management Qualifications 5+ years of relevant accounting experience Prefer exposure to public and private accounting, CPA preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Self-motivated and intuitive Strong technical aptitude and excel skills Effective management and communication skills Compassionate $120,000 - $130,000 Excellent Benefits
