Job Description
Frette is seeking a Director of Finance & Operations. The Director of Finance & Operations provides both operational and programmatic support to the organization. This dual role manages the finance and operation/logistics units in North America. The individual acts as a key partner in assisting with all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, securing new funding, warehousing negotiations, transportation, and distribution.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and lead company's financial strategies Manage the accounting, tax, and treasury functions. Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including organizational revenue and expenses including balance sheet reports, development, and monitoring of all budgets within the region Work with CEO, GM to ensure programmatic success through cost analysis support, and compliance with all contractual requirements Work hand-in-hand with the Commercial (retail, wholesale, hospitality and ecommerce) and Marketing teams on reports, controls, analysis, and advice, in order to achieve the financial objectives established. Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard the financial assets of the organization Preparation of budgets and forecasts explaining deviations vs actuals. Ensure accurate submission to head-office of financial report packages Identify and implement strategies to improve cost-efficiency and strengthen internal financial controls. Lead in the evaluation and execution of strategic business opportunities and investments Lead special projects with executive and business senior leadership primarily related to the evaluation of possible growth strategies, including coordinating business planning for major initiatives; lead preparation of presentation materials for these initiatives Work alongside IT to oversee upgrades and integration of financial systems for improved data accuracy and reporting. Lead forecasting and analytical efforts to inform business decisions with data-driven insights. Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and regulatory agencies to maintain trust and alignment. Qualifications Completion of a bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting at an accredited college or university Minimum five years of senior financial experience and management experience with the day-to-day financial operations of an organization. Advantageous to have experience in Retail Industry or similar consumer goods category with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI, and the Microsoft Office Suite in general. Knowledge of US GAAP Attention to detail and able to communicate in a clear and concise manner. Hands on and self-starter who is able to set and manage their own priorities. Well organized and a team player Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and lead change initiatives effectively. Excellent strategic planning capabilities Adaptable and flexible in a complex, changing environment Attention to detail while managing competing priorities and tight timelines

Salary range for this role is: $160,000 - $170,000 per year.
