The Director of Finance and Information Systems is a key member of the NAHSE leadership team, responsible for the management and integration of financial operations and information systems. This role supports the Chief Executive Officer in achieving organizational goals and drive strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will uphold NAHSE’s mission and values, foster innovation, and ensure fiscal responsibility across all activities. This full-time working leader position, located in the National Headquarters offices in Washington, DC, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. The Director of Finance and Information Systems plays a pivotal role in ensuring the operational success of NAHSE, driving the seamless integration of financial and technological innovation within the organization’s strategy. Through leadership and vision, this role sustains NAHSE’s reputation as a leader in equity and healthcare leadership. Manage all aspects of organizational finances, including reporting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Oversee information systems and data management, ensuring robust cybersecurity protocols are in place. Provide leadership and strategic direction in collaboration with executive leadership and the Board of Directors. Integrate innovative financial and technological practices into the organization’s overarching strategy. Champion equity and leadership in healthcare through sustainable fiscal practices and technological advancement. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field At least 7-10 years of relevant experience, with 3+ years in a leadership capacity. Proven expertise in managing organizational finances, including reporting, forecasting, and compliance in accordance with GAAP standards. In-depth knowledge of information systems, data management, and cybersecurity. Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and collaboration skills. Commitment to upholding NAHSE’s mission and values. Preferred Qualifications Experience in nonprofit or membership-based organizations. Proficiency in financial software and Engagement Management Systems such as iMIS. Understanding of healthcare administration and policy frameworks.
