"Responsible for full-cycle accounting and financial reporting on 12+ multi-family real estate properties, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations, management fee calculations, Chart of Accounts,  and treatments specific to entities that have HUD or LIHTC-investor-specific requirements. Prepare Budget v Actual summary each month for review by Executive Director. Accounts Payable entries are done by an AP/Accounting clerk, but all expense coding is ultimately the responsibility of the Controller. Must be able to make audit-reviewable journal entries, including entries to book payroll from payroll-vendor reports. Also includes assisting with quarterly Replacement Reserve draws. Responsible for all cash management across all entities, including tax, insurance, and Replacement Reserve escrows, ACH payments as needed, and interaction with bank on various matters pertaining to online bank system.  Liaison with external auditors and review and entry of AJEs.  Intermediate excel proficiency is required; experience with Real Page Leasing and Rents/One Site Accounting or other multi-family is required. Tact, diplomacy, and ability to handle sensitive information is necessary, as is the ability to multi-task in an organized manner."
