The Director of Operations for UNC Field Hockey is a high-level administrative and strategic position responsible for managing and advancing the operational, logistical, and developmental aspects of the program. This individual will be empowered to make independent decisions and negotiate directly with vendors and partners to optimize program operations. The role requires strategic oversight of travel, budgeting, facilities, and student-athlete support, contributing significantly to the success of the program. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in collegiate or professional sports operations, preferably within Olympic sports. Demonstrated success in independently managing complex travel, logistics, and financial operations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Knowledge of NCAA and ACC compliance regulations. Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience Prefer at least 1 year in relevant independent or educational activities.
