The Gardens at Orangeville is seeking a qualified Director of Environmental Services  to oversee and manage the operations of our Environmental Services Department. This role is essential in ensuring our facility remains clean, safe, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and supervise all aspects of the Environmental Services Department.

Ensure the facility is maintained in a clean and sanitary condition and that all required equipment and supplies are available and operable.

Make daily rounds to monitor the performance of environmental services staff and ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards.

Enforce departmental policies, fire and disaster procedures, and safety rules, including Universal Precautions.

Lead, train, and support staff to meet operational goals and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental services, preferably in a supervisory role.

Training in environmental control practices and procedures is preferred.

Experience in a medical or long-term care setting is highly desirable.

Must be at least 18 years of age.
