Job Summary:
We’re looking for an experienced and execution-focused Director of Enterprise Applications to lead the implementation, optimization, integration, and support of our core business systems. This role is responsible for maximizing the value of platforms such as CRM (HubSpot), ERP (Rent Manager), communications (Salesmsg), and task management (Asana) through application adoption and configuration, user enablement, vendor oversight, and system governance.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of how enterprise systems drive business outcomes and is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to configure tools, manage cross-functional programs, and support end users — especially across a distributed franchisee network.
Primary Responsibilities:
Enterprise Application Leadership
- Own the lifecycle and optimization of core business platforms (e.g., CRM, ERP, communications, task/project management)
- Drive enterprise-wide adoption by aligning platform capabilities with business workflows
- Evaluate, implement, and optimize new systems and enhancements to existing tools
- Serve as internal product owner across applications, ensuring that business units derive measurable value
Program Management & Governance
- Lead cross-functional application programs from discovery through implementation and change management
- Establish and manage governance frameworks for enterprise tools, including request intake, release management, and enhancement prioritization
- Partner with business stakeholders to prioritize enhancements and ensure alignment with operating needs
- Monitor system performance, adoption metrics, and support KPIs
Hands-On Configuration & Customization
- Directly manage and perform configuration of enterprise systems (e.g., workflows, fields, automations, permissions)
- Customize platforms to support business requirements and process improvements
- Coordinate closely with engineering teams to ensure integrations between platforms to support end-to-end process flows
Vendor Management
- Lead vendor relationships for enterprise applications, including licensing management, performance tracking, and escalation paths
- Track vendor performance and ensure accountability to SLAs and project deliverables
- Stay actively informed on product roadmaps, feature releases, and innovation cycles for all core enterprise platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Rent Manager, Asana, Salesmsg)
- Evaluate new and upcoming features for potential value, impact, and fit within current workflows
- Serve as the bridge between vendor roadmaps and internal priorities, ensuring the organization stays ahead of platform capabilities without unnecessary complexity
Franchisee & User Support
- Oversee ongoing support for internal users and franchisees, ensuring responsiveness, quality, and clarity of resolution
- Act as point of escalation for complex or high-impact system issues
- Create and maintain clear, standardized documentation and SOPs for all major workflows, configurations, and usage guidelines
Experience, Skills and Abilities:
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise applications, systems management, or IT business systems roles
- Hands-on experience with CRM, ERP, or other business-critical applications (experience with HubSpot required; experience with Rent Manager, Asana, or Salesmsg a strong plus)
- Strong analytical, process improvement, and project management skills
- Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts
- Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable application solutions
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
- Strategic mindset with a bias for action
- Empathy for end users and a passion for delivering exceptional digital experiences
- Ability to balance long-term vision with short-term execution
- Collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive in cross-functional teams
- Experience in franchising, retail, wellness, or hospitality industries is a plus
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $125,000-$150,000 annually, commensurate on experience. This role is bonus-eligible and is based on company and individual performance; all bonuses are subject to board and CEO approval.
