About the Role We are looking for a dynamic Director of Engineering to lead our engineering team through an exciting phase of growth. This is a senior-level position that plays a crucial role in shaping the engineering organization. You will collaborate closely with the founding team to modernize our architecture, enhance performance, and build a strong engineering team. Your key responsibilities will include: Defining the future of a product that directly benefits communities. Leading a high-performance engineering team across various platforms. Driving architectural decisions and overseeing platform modernization. Implementing effective engineering processes and talent management strategies. Fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. If you have a minimum of 10 years' experience in engineering, a track record of scaling SaaS teams, and experience in early to mid-stage startups preparing for IPO, we want to hear from you. Your expertise in architectural modernization, legacy platform migrations, and comprehensive knowledge of web, mobile, backend, and QA teams is essential. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, skilled in cross-functional leadership, and experienced in building robust leadership layers while attracting top talent. Knowledge of DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and data pipelines is also required.
