Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the engineering strategy in alignment with company goals and customer needs. - Champion innovation in vending technology, including IoT integration, cashless systems, and energy efficiency. - Collaborate with executive leadership to align engineering initiatives with business objectives. - Oversee the full product lifecycle from concept through production, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability. - Drive R&D efforts to explore new technologies and materials that enhance product performance and customer value. - Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and sustainability goals. Operational Excellence
- Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to optimize design for manufacturability (DFM) and reduce time-to-market. - Implement engineering best practices, including design reviews, risk assessments, and root cause analysis. - Manage engineering budgets, timelines, and resource allocation effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (Master's preferred). - 10+ years of progressive engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within manufacturing (preferably vending, appliance, or electromechanical industries). - Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex products to market. - Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and product development methodologies. - Experience with CAD, PLM systems, and embedded systems design is a plus. - Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
